Accomplished powerlifter and 5 time Ironman, Dean founded the Valkyries to create a unique, girls focused rugby program, inspired by his daughter's dreams and the experience of many female ruggers. 

Megan, founder of Zavieh Law and accomplished Marathoner, has been part of Valkyries Rugby since our founding and brings her business savvy and athletic experience to the leadership team.

Jenna was the founding coach of the Valkyrie and now is the program head coach.  She started her rugby journey in East Cobb in high school and her accomplishments were recognized by Life University.  Today, she continues work towards her 3 degrees, plays D1A rugby, and is leading our young ladies.

Sara joined the Valkyrie in 2021 and became an asset to the program.  She started her journey in Las Vegas at 9.  Moved to Florida joining girls and then women's teams.  Her hard work an dedication has been recognized by Life University so much so that she found herself on the elite team as a Freshman.   Today, she lends her expertise to our ladies while completing her degrees at Life. 

Maddison joined the staff in 2023.  Growing up in California, she has played rugby since she was 10.  She was recruited by Life and enjoyed playing her entire eligibility.  She has now graduated Life and looks forward starting her Dr. of Chiropractic program in the fall.

John joined the Valkyrie in 2021 bolstering our forwards staff.  John played in East Cobb and Roswell then went on to play at LSU.  After his graduation, he returned to Atlanta to begin his professional career and was recruited to assist his sist
